Not my MAVS!

It is a sad, sad day friends... The Mavs losing to #8 Golden State!!
Texas sports fans can only handle so much disappointment! Every win the Mavs had in the regular season was like a little antiseptic to the wound left by Tony Romo... I don't want to talk about that.
But, alas here I sit still devoted to my team after yet another embarrassing, crushing blow wondering who to blame. Maybe God is trying to tell Mark Cuban something, what goes around comes around perhaps!! Though I don't think God is really one for karma. Maybe like my friend Jeff says the Mavs are the only team that are able to make Stephen Jackson play like Kobe Bryant. Maybe it's my fault for not BELIEVING the way all of the Warrior's fans did. I will be honest I got cocky... oh, yes fellow sports fans you know the cocky of which I speak the kind that a 7 footer that is fast, can shoot from anywhere on the floor and does not miss free throws can bring, the kind that a Coach of the Year that pounds defense, defense, defense brings, the kind that your team being the team with the most wins in the regular season brings, the kind of cocky that makes you miss a game because we are #1 and they are #8. All of this to say that I have learned my lesson! And the lesson here being I apparently BELIEVED in my Mavs a little too much.

Bummer about the MAVs Jan. I couldn't believe it myself. But, hopefully they will have a better run next year -- well, maybe you could switch allegiance temporarily to the Suns. Go Suns! You could cheer for Steve Nash, good friend of Dirk and former Mav himself.
