My old friend
The good cry. I know I am treading on sacred girl ground here, but there are times when I am so thankful to the good cry that I feel like I should publicly thank her (yes, I assigned the good cry a gender, and of course she is a girl) so here it is my love letter to my dear friend, the good cry.
Girls you know what I am talking about, that cry that gets out all of the little frustrations that alone don't deserve a cry of their own. That cry that you will sometimes plan for when you have a moment to breakdown so you can bring yourself back. That cry that lasts a couple of minutes because nothing is actually wrong you just need a release. That cry that doesn't come from tragedy or sadness but from day to day living. That cry that makes you watch Beaches on TNT for the tenth time. The cry that sometimes you didn't even know you needed until you are laughing at yourself for crying at a Hallmark commercial. That cry that has the comfort of a good friend, the happiness of a piece of chocolate cake and the rejuvenating power of a great bath!
Guys you may be reading this thinking I am crazy, but ask ANY girl in your life and she will tell you about the "good cry" and while she is talking you will notice a smile slowly cross her face, and her eyes will close dreamily for just a split second because sometimes just the thought of the good cry can be enough.

My kind of space...
This post may come as a shock to those of you closest to me, but I am about to sing the praises of myspace... don't get all excited I still refuse to get a "space" but I would like to publicly ( if you can call 4 readers public) thank myspace for being my own personal jukebox! I am sure most of you already know this but you can listen to EVERY type of music for FREE! What I like to do, and what I am doing right now actually is to get a few of my favorites lined up and go between all of them. There is so much good music out there, so many artists saying some really good stuff, and we would never know about them if it weren't for myspace?!?!? So for your listening pleasure I have compiled a list ( including of course their myspace page) of my current favorites in no particular order... and please let me know of any music you deem worthy of taking up space so I can check it out!
